The thing is that if you are out of shape, half your anger is really about that. So, deal with it. It’s one way, I found, to feel better, and it can be difficult with a baby so it’s important to make your goal realistic.
What you need to do is to understand what is sustainable for you, different people can handle different things. Some can give up sweets with out a problem , while others can`t get their mind off the stuff. So if you force yourself to do something that is against your grain, you`ll lose the battle and the binge that you go on then will end in disaster! Which is why I say, don`t do anything drastic, if you love sweets, eat them, but do it in moderation and try and cut somewhere else.
Any extreme measure will either make you sick or it`ll lead to more weight gain. You don`t want that.
Start with trying some of these things in the list. They’ve helped a lot of women I know.
1. Cut Some Sweets.
If you drink three cups of coffee/tea and MUST put sugar then make it a level spoon and reduce it to twice a day. No biscuits with them.
2. If you snack, make it healthy.
Eat carrots. If you feel like something hot, have a clear vegetable (and Tofu for those who can find it) soup. Try and eat less salt, it leads to water retention.
3. Drink LOTS of water.
Have two glasses ten minutes before a meal times, this will reduce your appetite and prevent overeating. You can do the same when you feel like a snack, drink a glass of water first, then see if you still crave something to eat. Also, try and drink at least eight glasses of water a day – apart from everything else it,s good for your skin.
4. Remember the Veggies
Try and eat vegetarian food most of the times, not always if you are a meat eater, but as often as you can manage.
5. Dinner by 7.00 pm, but nothing after that
Metabolism slows down considerably in the evenings, so eating late makes all that food sit in your stomach adding to your weight. If you can`t do this then try having no salt after 7, some say that really helps.
6. It`s All In The Portions They Say
I know some women who lost weight by gradually reducing the portions of their meals..that`s all they did and that`s too not at once. Try and cut 500 calories from your diet a day, either by not taking that large second helping (instead a small one) or by not reaching out for that one extra biscuit.

If only it was all this simple!
And oh, hello!
